Recovery Support (formerly STAR)

Our Recovery Support Team engages parents in treatment services and helps them access preventative healthcare support.

Our Recovery Navigators provide peer support for parents who currently have an open ODHS child welfare case. The parents that we serve are suffering from substance use disorder, and we offer the initial step to recovery readiness. A Recovery Navigator’s role is to help break down the barriers to recovery and help parents find what that looks like to them. The Recovery Support Team engages parents in treatment services, help them access preventative healthcare support, and stand beside them every step of the way to recovery.
